The cast of Netflix’s Crew Girl share their takes on whether Teagan should date Cam or Josh

Cam and Josh should just date each other tbh

In Netflix‘s new show Crew Girl, the teenaged heroine Teagan is faced with an agonisingly impossible decision: whether to date the blonde-haired rower boy or the dark-haired rower boy. Woah, what a unique dilemma! Here are the Crew Girl cast and crew’s takes on whether Teagan should be with Cam or Josh.

Miku Martineau, who stars at Teagan, told Tudum: “I’m Team Teagan. Girl power. We all have those moments where we feel like the underdog or underestimated, especially as women in male-dominated environments. So, I’m Team Teagan because she’s a pretty powerful young lady.”

The show’s creator, Vivian Lin, indicated that even while Teagan was with Josh, “part of her heart” was really with Cam. She told Swoon: “I don’t want to diminish that she has real feelings for Josh and that it’s something real, but I also think she’s heartbroken. You can hold two things at once, so I think she’s still really wounded from that. And maybe part of it is distraction, part of it is exploratory. It is definitely not a full or healthy place to be.”

Hmmm. That sounds to me like a point for Team Cam.

Vivian Li also joked that one writer in particular was on Team Cam. She continued: “Jennica Harper, one of the writers, she was a very big Cam stan in the room. And then at the end, we had broken all of the episodes, and she was like, ‘So, she’s just not gonna kiss him?’ And I was like, ‘Oh, you’re right, you’re right.’ And so that’s where that last piece came from. She was absolutely right. So the Cam fans can thank her. We were going to leave them wanting.”

Joely Live asked the actors if they were on Team Josh or Team Cam.

Kyle Clark (who plays Cam) said: “I don’t know. I think people are going to have a tough time deciding, to be honest. There’s a lot to love with Cam. I’ve heard that people are happy with me as well, so I think that it’s going to be a close call for it.”

Josh’s actor, Sam Braun, answered: “That’s the great thing about this show. You’re kind of being pulled in both directions the whole way through, and you’re like, ‘Who am I rooting for?'”
