A$AP Rocky finally explains the truth behind his years-long drama with Drake over Rihanna
‘We ain’t doin’ all that’
A$AP Rocky has finally spoken out about his years-long feud with Drake, and it sounds like he has absolutely no interest in keeping it going.

During an appearance on The Jason Lee Show, Rocky was asked about the long-running tension between the pair, including whether he’d ever settle things in a celebrity boxing match. Safe to say, he wasn’t exactly keen on the idea.
“He don’t wanna see me,” Rocky said when the suggestion came up. “F**k some gloves, n***a. Bare knuckle, like the Irish. We ain’t doin’ all that celebrity boxing s**t.”
Despite the joke, Rocky made it clear he’s not interested in dragging the feud out any further.
The rapper also addressed one of Drake’s more recent digs, after Drake appeared to reference Rihanna on Burning Bridges. On the track, he raps: “Your baby mama ain’t even post your single, damn / Where she at? Yeah, where she at.”
Rocky couldn’t understand the criticism, calling the lyric “stupid”.
“This is the problem, though: If she would’ve posted my album, everybody would’ve been like, ‘You only went No. 1 ’cause your girl posted,'” he explained. “… She not on my f**king album. What single she supposed to be posting? She posted my album … after it went No. 1.”
He also suggested people are refusing to let go of a situation that he believes has long since passed.
“Everybody done moved on with their lives and motherf**kas still strung up on that s**t,” he said after Jason Lee joked about whether he’d “taken Drake’s girl.”
“It’s just bugged out to me. The Internet antics and smear campaigns and all that, we see right through that. That’s why I just be like, ‘I ain’t responding to that.'”
The tension between the two rappers stretches back several years. Before everything turned sour, Drake and Rocky were actually close collaborators, appearing together on 2012’s F**kin’ Problems and touring alongside one another on Drake’s Club Paradise Tour.
According to Rocky, things only changed once he started dating Rihanna around 2020.

Drake and Rihanna had an on-and-off relationship throughout the 2010s after first being romantically linked in 2009. Although neither of them ever fully defined the relationship publicly, Drake frequently spoke about his feelings for Rihanna, most famously during the 2016 MTV VMAs when he called her “someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old” while presenting her with the Video Vanguard Award.
However, the pair eventually went their separate ways, and by 2020 Rihanna had begun dating A$AP Rocky after years of being close friends. The couple have now welcomed three children together.
Speaking to Akademiks earlier this year, he said: “I thought [Drake] was my mans. I thought he was my dude.”

“I first met him and he seemed embraceful and s**t. We went on tour with him. I think when I got with [Rihanna], he started throwing shots out of nowhere. I just woke up and felt like he was throwing subs and s**t.”
Although Drake has continued making references to Rocky and Rihanna in his music, Rocky now seems pretty over the whole thing, insisting everyone else has moved on, and implying the internet should probably do the same.
