Casey finally reveals why he’s never found love on Love Island, despite trying three times

It’s become a running joke now that whenever Love Island comes around, there’s a high chance Casey O’Gorman could be in the cast. He’s now been on the show three times. But, despite having literally all the chances in the world to find love…he’s single. So, what’s going wrong?

Casey first appeared on winter Love Island 2023. He left with Rosie. Rosie and Casey then said they were looking forward to seeing how things went in the outside world, and had arranged some dates together. However, on the day they were meant to be going on their first date, Casey instead dropped a breakup statement saying they’d decided to just be friends. Nice!

He then returned for the first season of All Stars. He didn’t find love. But Casey didn’t give up! He was later back for All Stars season two. We all thought this was the turning point for him, when he won alongside Gabby Allen. It took them forever to go official after the villa, and then just days later it was revealed as all over.

Now, speaking to Heart Bingo in an exclusive interview for The Tab, Casey has finally shared why he’s never found love after being in the Love Island cast so many times.

“When you are in the villa, you are in your little bubble and you just fully immerse yourself into finding a connection and then once you step back into the real world and you’re going back to your normal life,” he explained. “And there are factors that don’t come into it while in the villa, like your job or distance – if you live far apart it can be hard.”

He added: “Me and Gabby ended very amicably, we have remained friends. I want to focus on my new ventures.”

I guess we’re all wondering if he has any thoughts about joining the cast of Love Island 2025, to which Casey said it’s “all banter”. He told The Tab a lot of his fellow Islanders joke about him going back to the villa, but he has no plans to right now. A shame!

“I think the line-up is really strong,” Casey said of this year. “I think everyone in Love Island is good looking, but the bombshells bring in even better chat, so I’m excited to see that happen and what sort of twists they have in the show.”
