Love Island legend reveals she’s expecting baby number two later this year

Love Island legend Shaughna Phillips has revealed she is pregnant with her second baby. Shaughna is already mum to daughter Lucia, who she welcomed in 2023.

Shaughna announced the news on Instagram, in a video showing her positive pregnancy tests. “Adding a little more love to our family…,” she said. She shared in an interview how Lucia is going to be the “best big sister”.

Shaughna told The Mirror: “We’re so happy to announce we are adding to our little family. Lucia is going to be the best big sister and is really excited to have a new baby brother or sister arrive later this year.”

In the comments of Shaughna’s Instagram post, loads of her Islander friends wished her congratulations. Demi Jones said: “You were born to be a mama!! Congratulations to all the family!! Lucia on big sis duties!”. Molly Smith added: “Congratulations.” Whilst previous winner Jess Harding said: “Awww congratulations my lovely ! How beautiful.”

Shaughna’s boyfriend and Lucia’s father, Billy Webb, was sentenced to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply 4.5kg of cocaine worth at least £360,000. This happened just after Lucia was born.

He was granted an early release, and was reportedly released from prison just before Christmas. He, Shaughna and Lucia spent Christmas together. It’s now believed he and Shaughna have got back together, but she has remained quite private about that aspect of her life.

She posted on Instagram at the time: “If you had told me this time last year, that me and Billy would be taking Lucia to see Santa next Christmas, I probably wouldn’t have let myself believe you The best couple of days, this Christmas is going to be so special.”

Shaughna appeared on winter Love Island, during the show’s sixth season. She was coupled up with Callum Jones, but they split during Casa Amor.
