‘I would jump out the plane’: Little girl goes viral for ‘nightmare’ behaviour on delayed flight

Unlocked: Reason number 40,000 for never having kids

A currently unidentified little girl is proboably hiding in her bedroom after literally the entire world witnessed mean people on the internet slamming her love of Moana during a delayed plane journey. The two-minute video makes for a difficult watch, but has already garnered nearly 12 million views on TikTok.

It’s an unspoken rule that people should just keep to themselves during international flights. Everyone is stressed, their ears are hurting, their skin is drying up, and the last thing you need is some snotty-nosed kid making your life more difficult. Unfortunately, this girl didn’t get the memo, and she continued singing her rendition of Moana over the bloody intercom.

The little girl sang the whole Moana song during the plane ride

When your Delta flight is delayed 2 hours and you circle Orlando for another 2… But then a little girl sings Moana on the crew mic and suddenly everything feels okay 🥹🎤✨ #DeltaAirlines #FlightDelay #OrlandoWeather #Moana #Wholesome #InFlightEntertainment #DisneyMagic #FeelGood

In a viral TikTok video initially posted by user Romeu, a little girl could be seen standing next to someone who appeared to be her mother. She was holding the intercom phone flight attendants use to, you know, save lives – but she was doing the exact opposite.

“When your Delta flight is delayed 2 hours and you circle Orlando for another two,” he captioned the post. “But then a little girl sings Moana on the crew mic and suddenly everything feels okay.”

Just imagine: You’re stressed tf out just trying to get to your destination when someone rando kid is heard over the intercom. Does she have an important message for her fellow travellers? Nah. Is she playing a prank? Unfortunately not. Instead, she proceeds to sing all two minutes of How Far I’ll Go from Moana.

Besides a few moments to clear her throat in the middle of the song, amateur hour if you ask me, the girl sings every single word before seemingly putting the phone back and continuing on with the journey. There was no further context to the “criminal” behaviour, so god knows what led to the moment. Did she just stand up and start doing it? Did her parents ask the flight attendants for the 15 minutes of internet fame? Guess we’ll never know.

The video has since made its way to all four corners of the internet, and people seemed to zero in on a few specific details. People obviously want to know what led to the sing-song moment, but also how old the kid was, because she looked about 13.

“What’s your favourite horror movie?’ IDK Being trapped in a metal tube with a singing child,” one person wrote.

Another said, “On an unrelated note, where is the closest emergency exit?”

“I’d rather listen to the pilot telling us the plane is going down,” someone else wrote.

A few videos have since popped up where people claim to have been on the infamous flight, but it’s not clear whether they actually were or are just using the now-viral TikTok sound.

It really shouldn’t need saying, but please don’t force your kids’ singing onto the rest of us. You signed up for this, those poor people were literally trapped at 45,000 feet.
