MAFS Australia’s Beth slams Teejay for his very different behaviour ‘behind closed doors’
They rowed off-camera about dating other people
Beth Kelly has dragged her MAFS Australia husband Teejay Halkias for his “hypocritical” behaviour off-camera.
The show introduced a shocking new twist this week – the remaining cast members had the option to go on a date with a “back-up” they were nearly matched with instead. Beth and Teejay were already on rocky ground after homestays, so both chose to go on the dates. Teejay met up with a woman called Tara-Lee Preston. Beth was matched with a guy she’s revealed was really “arrogant” and a “f*ck boy”.
Both dates seemed to go well based on what we saw on TV. Teejay said his meeting with Tara-Lee left him feeling “neutral”. But Beth has revealed Teejay’s reaction to these events was very different off-camera.
She told the Daily Mail Australia: “He actually had a bit of a go at me behind closed doors about going on the date. He said it was confusing, that I was going to look stupid, and it made me really upset.”
Beth felt this was a bit inconsistent of Teejay, since he also chose to go on the date. She continued: “But then I found out that he had a great time on his date. He told me something different and he’s then followed her and liked her pictures. So to me, it’s just hypocritical.”
Teejay actually went on a second date with Tara. She told Chattr: “We had a second date after filming and that went well and we’re still in touch.” It sounds like their relationship hasn’t moved on much, though. She added: “Right now I think we’re at different points and maybe all the show fuss creates a block.”
