It’s been reported a MAFS Australia All Stars season is in the works, and honestly, I’m shaking a little bit. An All Stars version of the show would see old and iconic participants return, and potentially give getting married at first sight another go. All of our favs (and enemies) all in one season?! I don’t think I’d survive dinner party one.

PEDESTRIAN.TV has reported the news, and said Channel Nine is already in the process of getting the spin-off ready. Insiders have called it a “potential MAFS All Stars.” The source claimed “phone calls started last week” and producers already know exactly who they’re interested in, and exactly who they’re not. Filming will apparently start in the summer.

“They want to bring back the humour,” one source told PEDESTRIAN.TV. “Finally, less toxicity and more tea.” The source claimed producers have been making casting calls, to see who is available. The publication said they want “more PG-friendly drama, a bit of cheeky flirting and maybe, just maybe a second shot at love for some of the OGs who deserved better.”

One person apparently in talks is Cheryl Maitland, who appeared on Married at First Sight season four. She was known for awkward moments, and of course, bringing drama.

The insider source shadily name dropped current cast member Jacqui Burfoot as the sort of person producers would like to avoid. They are said to be avoiding cast members who “just want Instagram followers” or “went rogue” after their first time on the show.

Jacqui has posted loads since being on the show, and shared that she and Ryan had broken up whilst the episodes were still airing. It’s gotten so bad between the former bride and groom, that they’re currently embroiled in a court case about talking about each other online, and restraining orders are involved. Yeah, no surprise the show doesn’t want more of that.

So, MAFS Australia All Stars? Right now, it’s all just rumours and a whole lot of dreams. Nothing has been confirmed. Channel Nine, I need this to be real!
