So, Jamie did stay with Dave during the MAFS homestays but none of it was aired?!

During the MAFS Australia homestays, it looked like Jamie refused to go and stay with Dave, but it turns out she did actually stay at his Melbourne home.

On the show, it was made to look like the bride went home to her own apartment and they remained separated after their massive bust-up during feedback week.

Jamie confronted Dave about their lack of intimacy after the partner swap, which left Dave shockingly admitting that he didn’t have strong feelings for her after all.

However, Dave has revealed he and his wife did stay together during the homestays week, but none of it was shown on TV, so viewers were made to believe otherwise.

“The edit made it look like we stayed in separate places the entire time, but that’s just not true,” he told Daily Mail Australia.

“She did come to my place, but she just wasn’t impressed. My dog wasn’t even there because I knew she wasn’t a fan, but she still found some dog hair and left.”

It’s not clear how long she stayed at Dave’s home, but the reality show made it out like their only interaction was when they visited her sister and his dad.

“Staying at Dave’s apartment, mentally I just couldn’t cope,” Jamie said in the episode. “I’ve had my heart broken and he’s the one that’s done this to me.”

“Coming home, it wasn’t like exciting. You think it’s gonna be really exciting, but you kind of come in and feel really alone.”
