Sorry everyone, but Dave and Jamie ‘aren’t on speaking terms’ after MAFS Australia

I hate to break the news to you, but Dave and Jamie from MAFS Australia 2025 definitely aren’t together anymore. In fact, their relationship has soured to the point that they “aren’t on speaking terms”. Sad times.

People watching MAFS Australia 2025 in the UK have finally started to see Dave and Jamie’s romance break down. Their relationship did drag on to final vows, but then they split up a week before the reunion was filmed in November 2024.

Jamie told the Australian radio presenter Carly Portch: “We aren’t on speaking terms.”

She continued: “I tried so hard to maintain a friendship and I guess that was what was always pushed to me, like, ‘I really care about our bonds and our friendship. But at the same time, Dave put me through a lot on the experiment and watching it back is really difficult. Can’t excuse certain behaviours but at the same time, I can understand someone might not have been the best headspace. People make mistakes.”

Jamie added: “I don’t truly think he’ll ever understand what he put me through. Dave doesn’t deserve to have access to me, I’m sorry.”

Since the show, Jamie has become super close friends with Awhina, Beth and Eliot (believe it or not). But it doesn’t sound like Jamie has any plants to stay friend with Dave.

She told the Daily Mail Australia: “‘I don’t have anything to say to him. Everything I say doesn’t resonate. It’s a waste of words and energy. I don’t want to waste more time proving my worth to someone who doesn’t deserve it.” Ouch.

Dave also dramatically unfollowed Jamie, Eliot, Veronica, Adrian and Sierah as soon as he regained control of his Instagram account.

He has explained that his feelings towards Jamie seemed to change so suddenly on TV because his dad was very ill with cancer. Dave said on the Robbie & Carly For Breakfast podcast  “I was just caught up in this whirlwind of an experiment with other couples and I shut down.”

Jamie is now reportedly working in a club in Melbourne, while Dave still lives in Victoria and has signed up to an influencer agency. In March, Jamie was spotted on a date at a restaurant with someone who looks a lot like Dave. Well, she said she has a type.
