Billy has revealed the real reason he left MAFS Australia and it’s absolutely savage

Billy and Sierah are the fourth couple to leave MAFS Australia, and he has revealed the brutal real reason he quit.

Speaking to Megan Pustetto on the So Dramatic! podcast, the groom explained it had nothing to do with that wild cheating scandal.

His decision to leave MAFS at the third Commitment Ceremony was all down to getting his own back on Sierah. Savage!

Billy explained that the day before, Sierah told Awhina she was going to write “Leave” because she thought Billy would write “Stay”.

She also said she was going to “drag him to the end,” and Awhina went and told Billy about Sierah’s cruel intentions.

“When she said that she was gonna drag me to the end, I was like no you ain’t mate, no chance, you’re not taking me anywhere,” he said.

“So I blindsided her. Yeah, you blindsided me, so guess what? Uno reverse. I’m gonna blindside you, and I’m leaving.”

“I’m like bro you’re not gonna control my narrative at all. You ain’t dragging me to the end,” the 32-year-old continued.

Billy said he saw her heart sink when she realised he had voted to leave the experiment, but it wasn’t shown on TV.

Some of the other MAFS Australia cast members noticed too and said to Billy afterwards: “You should have seen the shock on her face.”

As well as getting his own back on Sierah, he also wanted to stay true to himself and not stay in the experiment “for the sake of it”.

“That’s why I didn’t say in the end, because I couldn’t see it going anywhere,” he said.

“If I ain’t feeling it, I’m gonna leave. I’m not just gonna play happy families. This ain’t gonna work, so I’m gonna go out and find who it is gonna work with.”

He said he doesn’t understand why people stay in the experiment “for the sake of it,” adding: “That isn’t gonna make you happy.”

Billy claimed he lost himself in that final week, but the morning after he left the experiment, he finally felt like himself again.

“I was back because that weight is lifted off your shoulders. You’re doing the right thing. Leave. If you’re not feeling it, get out.”
