MAFS Australia 2025 has just teased us with what is the start of a “footsie scandal”. Yes, you read that right. This is really happening. At the end of the dinner party, we saw Sierah and Adrian get a little close under the table, and some cheeky looks being made over the table.

But guys, this is actually about to be the full catalyst to a big fat pile of drama. Yes, we’re in couple swap territory! So, as MAFS Australia starts to really heat up, here’s the whole footsie scandal explained, and what happens afterwards.

The footsie scandal is between Sierah and Adrian

Right now, Billy is with Sierah and Adrian is with Awhina. However, we’ve just seen some pretty flirty behaviour between Sierah and Adrian whilst at a dinner party.

It later comes out that Sierah and Adrian have been meeting up behind their partners’ backs. But, they promised the footsie session went no further. According to Daily Mail Australia, Sierah and Adrian got close from the first week of filming. They are reported to have formed an “unexpected bond” whilst on a night out.

The publication claimed Sierah and Adrian ended up back at her apartment, where they “stayed up late getting to know each other.” It was claimed Billy had been at another apartment at the time. Days later, Sierah and Adrian went on a dinner date.

Billy is said to have been “seething” when he found out. When the connection Sierah has made with Adrian becomes clear, she and Billy voted to leave the experiment.

Following the footsie scandal, Awhina and Billy were left feeling “humiliated” and “betrayed” by their partners. Billy is said to have joked with Adrian about having a “wife swap”, and initially said he made the comments as a joke. But, did he?

It looks like Awhina and Billy have the last laugh, as they then couple up. What’s more, it looks like the might still be together after the show. They’ve been spotted and pictured on dates since the show.

As for Sierah and Adrian, they very much made their beds. It’s been reported after all this, they’re not even on speaking terms any more. Yikes.
