Old pics show the insane transformation of MAFS Awhina, from party girl to bride-to-be

Awhina Rutene made an impression on her husband Adrian with her blonde bombshell looks and bubbly personality, but once upon a time, she looked quite different to the girl we know and adore on MAFS Australia right now.

I have hunted high and low for throwback pictures of Awhina and over the years she’s gone through more hairstyles than Tim has dating profiles. Meanwhile, her twin sister Cleo has looked practically the same for a decade.

From matching baby photos to party girl shenanigans, here is MAFS Australia’s Awhina and her wild transformation.

Awhina’s baby pictures are too cute

Back in 2018, Awhina shared a side-by-side picture of herself alongside her twin sister Cleo Rutene. It’s not immediately clear how old they were in the pictures, but their matching tartan dresses are almost too cute to handle.

“Womb mate #twinning,” she captioned the post.

MAFS Australia’s Awhina looked quite different a decade ago

This picture was taken in 2016 which would have made Awhina 21 years old and possibly dating the unnamed father of her son. Her hair looked quite different and she was brandishing those iconic thick black eyebrows that still haunt many of our dreams. There’s no shame, we were all there at one point.

“Is it champagne o’clock yet?!” Awhina’s friend captioned the post. This, along with the baseball shirts and face paint would suggest they were off to a party.

She was obviously a bit of a party girl

In other pictures shared by her friend, Awhina sported blue denim shorts and a sheer bodysuit at the Wonderland festival.
