Awhina made a spooky prediction before her MAFS Australia wedding that actually came true

Awhina and Adrian had the shock of their lives on MAFS Australia when they realised they were both twins, but she made a spooky prediction that morning.

It was their family members who spotted the connection first as her twin sister Cleo walked down the aisle and his twin brother James sat in the front row.

Cleo clocked James and opened her mouth in shock, and Awhina had the same gobsmacked reaction, but it was because she already knew!

In an interview with Today Extra, the bride revealed she had a premonition on the wedding morning that her MAFS groom was going to be a twin as well.

“I knew. No one could understand me because I was squealing ‘I knew it’ but I had a feeling he might be a twin,” she said.

“I said it to my twin before the wedding. I was like ‘I’m marrying a twin today’.”

She put the whole thing down to her “twinstincts,” that creepy telepathy that twins just seem to have.

Awhina added that when she walked down the aisle, she was really excited to discover that her weird prediction “was right”.

The pair seemed like a match made in heaven at first, and the bride was really happy when he said in his vows: “I do come with a beautiful six-month-old.”

However, he then revealed his baby is a dog, an Aussie Shepherd to be exact, and awkwardly added: “Don’t worry, I don’t have kids.”

Awhina has a seven-year-old son and broke the news later on at the reception. Adrian had a really cold response, saying it’s “not ideal”.

“At first I thought, ‘Beautiful we’re going to be a blended family’,” she said. “When it became a joke, just an innocent joke, a little dread sunk in.”

Things then got even more awkward at the honeymoon when he admitted that he doesn’t think he can love someone else’s child as much as his own.

She knew she was going to marry a twin, but it doesn’t look like he’s the right one for her.
