A thorough analysis of which MAFS Australia 2025 couple got the most expensive wedding venue
I’d be so annoyed if I got the warehouse
Praise be, MAFS Australia is back for 2025 and now we have something to fill our evenings with for two whole glorious knots. Most of the couples have got married now (to varying degrees of success). Here’s a rundown of where the MAFS Australia 2025 couples got married, and how much the wedding venues cost. Because you know you want to know.
Rhi and Jeff

All those blue flowers must have nearly bankrupted the show

The producers must love Rhi and Jeff, because they were blessed with one of the most aesthetic wedding locations – Mosman’s Gunners Barracks in Sydney.
Harbour View Lawn section of the gardens which… has a view of the harbour. It costs $1,000 AUD (£488) to hire out this particular patch of grass for two hours. Their reception took place inside the historic building, which can’t have been cheap either.
Ashleigh and Jake

I wonder what they did with all the spare flowers?!

Their wedding was at the very whimsical HostCo Cottage Lawns, which are part of the University of Sydney. I guess the producers thought the fantastical, enchanted garden vibe would suit a couple who are into Dungeons and Dragons?
According to this brochure, the cheapest package $95 AUD (£46) per person, and the spenniest is $115 AUD (£56) per person. That’s not including alcohol. Seven hours of wine and beer will add $65 (£32) per person to the bill.

Greyleigh is a converted dairy farm near a town called Kiama. Getting married there reportedly costs $15,000 AUD (£7,323).

They got married in a cafe next to Sydney Harbour called Deckhouse Woolwich. The inside of the building isn’t super exciting, but there are amazing views of Sydney. Packages start at around $120 AUD (£59).
Jamie and Dave

I’m sorry but grunge hasn’t been in for ages

This might win the prize for the most random MAFS Australia wedding location in 2025. Jamie and Dave’s wedding was in a “historic railway workshop”. Basically, a big old warehouse with a few flowers in. I cannot for the life of me find any information about how much is costs to get married there, which suggests to me that not many people do? It’s more commonly used as an events space.
Katie and Tim

These two also got saddled with a farm wedding. They said vows in a field, and made extremely awkward small talk at their reception in an old barn. Linnaeus Farm isn’t actually a wedding venue – but you can hire it out for elopements and filming. (Remember, MAFS Australia ceremonies aren’t properly legally binding weddings.)
Carina and Paul

I bet it has great acoustics

Their marriage-not-at-first-sight was at Sydney Town Hall – a super popular wedding venue. The wedding package here starts at $24,600 AUD (£12,000).
Lauren and Eliot

You’d have to be a whole other level of theatre kid to get married here

Last but most definitely not least, Lauren and Eliot tied the knot at the Sydney State Theatre. Yes, you can actually get married there. And also watch Hello Kitty’s Super Adventure, the musical.
