‘Stitched up’ Tim ‘wants nothing to do with MAFS’ and is refusing interviews after filming
He’s deleted all of his social media following backlash
Tim Gromie apparently wants nothing to do with MAFS Australia, after he received loads of backlash over his behaviour on the show. The 38-year-old has made it very clear he sees no future with Katie, who he was matched with by the experts.
Things really haven’t looked good from Tim on the show. He straight away dismissed a “spark” with new bride Katie, said his type was “petite blondes” and didn’t give her much of a chance. At the first dinner party, he was accused by fellow cast members of “gaslighting” his bride.
Without any spoilers, it looks as though in the coming weeks things go from bad to worse. And now, Tim has declared he wants nothing to do with the show anymore. He’s also refusing interviews to speak about the experiment, and has taken down his social media profiles.

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, Tim didn’t turn up to the press photo day for the show, and is “fearful” for his job as a primary school teacher because of how he’s come across.
An insider said: “Tim is really fearful the show is going to affect his employment as a primary school teacher, that’s why he’s deleted all socials, is refusing to do interviews and wants nothing to do with it. He feels he was stitched up from the start and is now just trying to get through it with minimal damage to his career and reputation.”
Another added: “He isn’t going to come out of this very well at all, especially after the first dinner party.”

Since his appearance on the show, it’s also come out that Tim was texting Eden from the 2024 series whilst on his honeymoon with Katie. Eden was with Jayden last year, but the pair didn’t work out. Since then, she’s spilled all about what happened with Tim.
On top of this, one of the “petite blondes” who hooked up with Tim before the show has spoken out, and she didn’t really have a single nice thing to say. Uh-oh!
