All the MAFS Australia 2025 honeymoons, ranked by how eye-wateringly expensive they are
What did Ashleigh and Jake do to deserve only a 4-star resort?
The MAFS Australia 2025 honeymoons are serving so much drama. Plus, we get to gaze longingly at all the beautiful hotels and fantasise about drinking margaritas there. After extensive research, I can reveal exactly how expensive all these stunning resorts are. I’m taking this as hard evidence of which couples the producers love the most.
The estimated prices are based on what each hotel’s website told me it would cost to book a room for two adults in June, because that’s around when the honeymoons are filmed. They don’t take into account any offers or discounts.
So, here are all the MAFS Australia 2025 honeymoon locations, ranked by how expensive they are.
10. Ashleigh and Jake

Oh, to be drinking pina coladas on the beach

They’re clearly not the producers’ favourites, because they had to stay in a *gasp* four star hotel instead of a five star one. Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort in Queensland. The resort seems like a bargain – most rooms are between $200 AUD (£98) and $300 AUD (£147) per night.
9. Morena and Tony
This couple got to stay at the Pullman Magenta Shores Resort, about an hour and a half from Sydney. The hotel has a spa, and an adjacent golf club. This is one of the cheaper hotels on the list – the smallest room is $209 AUD (£102) per night, and the largest that sleeps ten is $455 AUD (£221)
8. Lauren and Eliot

We barely got to see this hotel, because Eliot didn’t stick around long enough

Well, this wasn’t exactly a successful honeymoon. Eliot was concerned that Lauren liked handbags, so he dramatically left (???).
They stayed at the Kingfisher Bay Resort. The hotel is on K’gari (Fraser Island) and surrounded by stunning scenery. The rooms range from £166 to £298 per night. Different sections of the hotel are linked by timber walkways, which looks fun.
7. Jamie and Dave

I have such high hopes for these two

Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef is in the boujie Whitsunday Islands. A coral lagoon surrounds the hotel, and has over 100 species of marine life. What a place to go snorkelling. I learn so much about Australian georgaphy from watching MAFS.
Room prices range from $348 AUD (£169) to $688 AUD (£334) a night.
6. Rhi and Jeff

Doesn’t look too shabby

This couple got to stay at the truly gigantic Imperial Hotel Gold Coast. The resort looks over the sea, and has more pools than I can count. The cheapest room is $380 AUD (£186) per night, and the impressive-sounding Three Bedroom Rooftop Condominium is a huge $,2052 AUD (£1,003) per night.
5. Carina and Paul

I’d be buzzing if the producers sent me here
(Image via Channel Nine / E4)
Iririki Island Resort & Spa Vanuatu has so many activities, it’s a miracle Carina and Paul had any time left to talk to each other. The hotel offers *deep breath* beach volleyball, snorkelling, kayaking, paddle boarding, a gym, tennis, table tennis, a pool table, and a very large swimming pool. Unfortunately for us mortals, the rooms start at $440 AUD (£214), and go all the way up to $1,469 AUD (£714) for the deluxe penthouse suite.
4. Katie and Tim

It wasn’t a great trip…
(Image via Channel Nine / E4)
Tim’s “petite blonde” obsession cast a shadow over their honeymoon. Poor Katie. But the hotel actually looks stunning? Their honeymoon was a wilderness retreat at Cradle Mountain Lodge in the gorgeous Tasmanian countryside. The rooms are pricey – the smallest cabin costs $549 AUD (£267) per night, and the largest $1,549 AUD (£753).
Tim was unimpressed that the bathroom had a glass wall. But I’m sure the hotel would be a very romantic place for couples who actually like each other?
3. Jacqui and Ryan

I would definitely feel this chill after a visit to the wine cellar
(Image via Nine / E4)
Jacqui and Ryan – sorry, Ry-Ry – really lucked out. They got to stay at Mount Lofty House – which claims to be the most awarded hotel in Australia? It’s a luxurious boutique hotel near Adelaide. The 175-year-old wine cellar has over 1,300 different bottles to choose from. Sign me up!
The room prices range from around $600 AUD (£293) to a truly eye-watering $1,899 AUD (£928) per night, depending on what package you pick.
2. Awhina and Adrian

Somebody please teleport me here

I’m so jealous of their honeymoon. The Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa has a huge pool, a beach, waterslides and an on-site hair salon. Tragically, the hotel isn’t cheap. The rooms range from £373 to £1,014 per night. Yikes. That’s nearly as much as Sabrina Carpenter tickets cost.
1. Sierah and Billy

They really lucked out. Sierah and Billy got to stay in a very vibey chalet at The Stables Resort Perisher in the Snowy Mountains. Their exact ski lodge has three bedrooms and costs a whopping $1,312 AUD (£638) per night. This looks like one of the most glamorous of all the MAFS Australia 2025 honeymoons. I’m taking this as evidence that Billy and Sierah are the producers’ favourite couple.
