People are fully convinced Elma and Sammy were an item BEFORE Love Island All Stars, and there’s actually a lot of evidence. The pair have been honest and said they knew each other before from TOWIE, but have always said that’s the limit to their “history”.

People on Reddit have found loads of pictures of them together from before the show. These could be completely innocent, but it’s also been spotted that they have both been posting coupley emojis under each other’s posts from before the show.

In one post on Sammy’s Insta, the pair can be seen cosying up at a TOWIE Christmas party. In the comments, Elma has commented a bunch of heart emojis. In reply, Sammy posted an emoji of a couple holding hands. If you scroll through the post below, you’ll see the picture of them both.

“Elma and Sammy were for sure dating before entering the villa. It all makes sense,” one person on Reddit said. Someone replied: “I 100 per cent believe this. Her repeatedly calling him her ‘fella’.” Another added: “I thought it was odd how Sammy came in and decided not to not get to know anyone except Elma.”

Elma has also shared pictures of herself and Sammy on Instagram. All the other photos from the TOWIE party are group pictures, apart from the one of just herself and Sammy. “Is there a possibility they were already dating? It’s interesting all the pics have multiple people or solo shots except this one of just her and Sammy not long before going into the villa,” someone on Reddit noted.

What we know for sure is that Elma and Sammy met on the TOWIE circuit. They both went on the reality show after their first stints on Love Island. Sammy and Elma were rumoured to be dating in 2023. Then, it was announced he was joining the cast of TOWIE – of which Elma was already a part. At the time Elma said she and Sammy had known each other for “a little while” and she described him as a “lovely boy.”

The pair got very flirty and close during their time filming the show together, but it doesn’t look as though anything serious ever came of it. However, Reddit thinks otherwise.

A source told The Sun: “Elma has said the attraction with Sammy was nothing more than flirtation as she’s conscious they have an age gap of nearly 10 years, but Love Island execs hope under the South African sun, love could bloom.

“Sammy is pals with a few of the lads too including Casey and Ron so will slot right in. He’s All Stars’ second winner too, joining Ekin in that accolade.”
