Samie exposes ‘unaired’ Love Island footage that adds crucial context to Luca’s love triangle
‘It was just uncomfortable’
After she was dumped from Love Island All Stars following a failed coup in Luca Bish and Grace Jackson’s relationship, Samie Elishi has exposed the unaired footage that producers chose to leave out.
When Samie joined the season two cast with one boy on her mind, Luca, we watched as tensions rose over a game of spin the bottle. Though Grace branded Luca “disrespectful” because of his cheeky kiss with Samie, tensions cooled by the following episode despite Luca being forced to couple up with the bombshell.
Then, in Friday’s dramatic recoupling, Luca put aside his fizzling feelings for Samie by choosing to couple up with Grace in a move that resulted in Samie’s brutal dumping. She has now shed light on what we didn’t get to see.
Samie said that Love Island did not air footage with Grace
Besides a few shady looks and the obligatory gossip with the girlies, we weren’t gifted that many moments between Samie and Grace as ITV chose to instead feature the two beauties fighting over Luca. But as it turns out, Samie and Grace did address their beef.
Speaking on Love Island: The Morning After podcast, Samie said that she and Grace settled their brewing feud in a moment Love Island chose not to air.
“So I had a conversation with Grace and we were fine. But obviously, it was just uncomfortable the whole time,” she said, further noting which girls she got on with. “All the girls to be fair, but the only person I didn’t really gel with one-to-one was Grace. For obvious reasons.”
Rather than let the dust settle, in the same interview, Samie offered her thoughts on Grace and Luca’s relationship as she revealed “animosity” between them.

She explained: “I just think if they’re happy let them be happy. They spent lots of time together around the villa. It’s pretty clear they fancy each other, they were arguing and there was a bit of animosity, but if they’re happy then good luck to them. If they’re happy, they’re happy.”
Of course, this comes after dumped Islander Kaz Crossley prophesied trouble for Grace and Luca’s relationship. Looks like she was wrong, or the drama is yet to come…
