Inside Samie Elishi’s boujie jet-setter life beyond the Love Island: All Stars villa

Samie Elishi is very much a main character of Love Island: All Stars right now. I’m counting off the hours until I can gossip about what happens next between her, Grace and Luca. Here’s a nosy deep dive into what Samie Elish gets up to when she’s not meddling with messy triangles in the Love Island: All Stars villa.

Samie from Love Island is a London girlie

She’s 24 years old now, and grew up in the Islington area of London. Her dad is Moroccan and her mum is English and Welsh. Samie still lives in North London, and her home looks very boujie. Think hardwood floors and a large garden and a very ornate full-length golden mirror for her to take sponsored selfies in.

She used to work in real estate pre-Love Island

Before she went on Love Island the first time, she was an estate agent co-ordinator and had a part-time job in a restaurant. Now, she’s all about that influencer life. She has a whopping 678,000 Instagram followers and another 254,000 on TikTok.

What happened the last time Samie Eilshi was in the Love Island villa?

Samie was in series nine of Love Island – the one in the winter of 2023. She came in third place with Tom Clare. The split up a whole four weeks after the show. Tom returned to Love Island less than a year later for All Stars, and won it with Molly.

While Samie was on the show, lots of viewers messaged Samie’s friends that they’d spotted a lump on her neck. She has the lump removed and tested for thyroid cancer, but thankfully it was benign.

Samie is such a jet-setter

She liked a fancy holiday even before Love Island, but now she must be barely at home. Samie’s been on trips to *takes deep breath* Dubai, Phuket Island and Coral Island in Thailand, New York, Marbella in Spain, Las Vegas, Ibiza, Halkidiki in Greece, Olüdeniz in Turkey and Portugal. Within the last year alone. Really.

She now has a business for advising people on how to become travel influencers

Really. It’s called Get Away With Samie. She has a whole separate travel Instagram to post pictures of herself on holiday and inspire other people to start careers as travel social media influencers. Samie posts very useful advice such as “get out of your comfort zones and change your circumstances”, “travel smarter” and “embrace the freedom of earning residual income while exploring incredible destinations”.

It’s a bit unclear exactly what Samie charges for her advice, because you have to DM her for more information. I’m guessing she’s a bit too busy right now to reply to me.

What’s her history with Luca?!

Er, well Luca, Samie, Grace and Ekin-Su (for no reason) seem to have a different interpretation of what happened between Luca and Samie on each episode. Kaz made a TikTok explaining it’s well-known lore among former Love Islanders that Luca has been into Samie for ages. He did ask her out once, but she said no because she was with someone else at the time. She did follow him back, though.
