Pop stars are auctioning off their old tour outfits and some are surprisingly cheap?!

Sabrina Carpenter’s dress will cost you at least $100,000, though

Gals, lots of our fave pop stars are auctioning of their iconic outfits and some of the stuff is vaguely affordable right now. A celebrity stylist called Lindsey Hartman has organised a charity ball and auction called Give A Frock to raise money for people affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. Loads of celebrities have donated clothes, including Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish and Chappell Roan. That’s, like, my whole Spotify Wrapped. The auction is live online right now for you to pursue at your leisure.

The money raised will go to the charities Altadena Girls, Friends In Deed, One Voice, and the Pasadena Humane Society. So you can feel like a really good person while you dance around your bedroom in the original HOT TO GO! outfit. (Or you can if you have a spare $8,000, anyway).

The most expensive item so far is the blue dress Sabrina Carpenter wore in the Please Please Please music video. After eight bids, it’s already up to a truly eye-watering $100,000 (£80,800). The auction will be live until 25th February, so it’s possible it will be sold for even more than that. Perhaps Barry Keoghan touching it has increased its value? You can also buy the outfits Sabrina Carpenter and Jenna Ortega wore in the deeply iconic Taste video… if you have a spare $72,500 (£58,500) to hand, of course.

Charli XCX is auctioning off the fits left over from The Sweat Tour in 2024. Chappell Roan is selling three items. Someone has already bid a whopping $8,000 (£6,500) on the iconic sequenced outfit she wore in the HOT TO GO! video and on her tour.

If you feel so inclined, you can also buy the super-glam dress Olivia Rodrigo slayed in at the premiere of The Hunger Games: A Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes and three of Hayley Williams’s iconic outfits, including her fit from her opening set at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. The earrings Billie Eilish wore in the What Was I Made For? video are at $400 (£320) right now and I’m seriously contemplating if this is a justifiable purchase.

Some of the stuff is surprisingly cheap, though? At the slightly more affordable end are three of Avril Lavigne’s outfits from her 2022 Love Sux Tour. One minidress is only at $75 (£60) and I’m sorely tempted. Madonna’s Chanel jacket from the 2004 Re-Invention World Tour is at $400 (£323) which is an absolute steal if you asked me. The top St Vincent wore to perform at the 2025 Grammys this week is currently at $200 (£160). A Vivienne Westwood dress which Pamela Anderson wore to a red carpet event in 2017 is now at $350 (£280) which is a banging bargain when you consider the same dress is about $1,860 (£1,500) retail.
