LA wildfire aid to acting: Everything Davide has been up to whilst Ekin-Su is on All Stars

Ekin-Su is desperately trying to extend her 15 minutes of fame on Love Island All Stars after winning season eight of the standard show with her then-boyfriend Davide. Of course, Ekin-Su and Davide followed in the footsteps of Molly-Mae and Tommy when their relationship combusted in 2023.

Following that, Ekin-Su became reality TV’s biggest jumpscare when she appeared on Dancing on Ice, The Traitors, and Celebrity Big Brother. She’s really not letting that spotlight go – and I can’t really blame her – but here’s what her ex has been up to.

Davide has got big things planned in 2025

Like the rest of us, Davide spent the first days of 2025 reflecting on the previous year, sharing a gallery’s worth of swoon-worthy Instagram snaps showcasing some of the year’s many highs. The carousel included lots of sunny snaps from vacations, some charity work, and – of course – plenty of shirtless selfies.

“Bye-bye 2024. What a year! With its ups and downs has been as harsh as Amazing! Travels, charity, achievements, and so much personal growth,” he wrote in the caption. “These memories will stay with me forever. Wish I could have added more than 20 pics, lol. Here’s to 2025 bringing joy, prosperity, and well-being! Here’s to an incredible 2025 ahead to me, and all of you!”

At the same time, rumours began circulating that Davide was ditching the reality TV circuit for a stab at Hollywood. Though this is a tale as old as time, he furthered his acting skills by signing up to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in LA where alumni include Lady Gaga, Dustin Hoffman, Scarlet Johansson and Chris Evans.

“He moved to the USA earlier this year and was training at the Lee Strasberg Institute. After completing the course he was approached by Hollywood producers in Los Angeles and was asked to audition for their up-and-coming feature film for 2025,” a source told the MailOnline.

“He’s excited by the opportunity and is giving this audition process as much care and attention required in order to secure the role!”

We are yet to see the fruits of his labour.

He celebrated a birthday!

January 1 also marked Davide’s 30th birthday, making him one very determined Capricorn. He had not one, but two different cakes; the first was him dressed in a skiing outfit and the second was inspired by one of his tuxedo-clad red carpet looks.

“30 and feeling great! Thank you for the many messages – I can’t reply to every single one, but please know I appreciate all the love and support. Cheers to an amazing new decade!” he said on Instagram.

Reality TV royalty wished him the best on his big day, with current All Stars competitor Casey O’Gorman penning a simple “Happy birthday bro” as Dami Hope said, “Happy birthday family!!! Praying for an even better year ahead.”

Davide was in LA recently, and then the wildfires hit

By January 8, Davide Sanclimenti was sunning it up in Los Angeles, California, but unfortunately, the destructive wildfires started just a few days later. Rather than return to the UK or hold out in a safe location, he helped the local community by donating lots of water and food.

He wrote in an Instagram post: “A different Sunday. Really fulfilling. Stay strong LA. A big appreciation for the many people that are working out there trying to make the situation better. What I did was nothing. If not a small kind gesture because every bit matters.

“Plus I was curious to go out there to be honest. We drove a bit around, lot of roads where blocked which is fine. Made the journey easier. Sad too see part of the city in this condition but also happy to see a lot of people donating and volunteering. Makes you feel there are good people in this world in the end.”

He’s kept his Instagram up to date while raging about Ekin-Su

Davide is yet to officially comment on his ex Ekin-Su refusing to give up her 15 minutes, instead taking himself off to an undisclosed snowy location where he’s kept his Instagram up to date with fitness content and general influencer shenanigans.

This comes as a source claimed that Davide is livid at his former flame for appearing on All Stars when he turned it down.

Speaking to Closer, the insider said: “Davide is absolutely furious about Ekin-Su’s decision to join Love Island All Stars. He feels like it’s a slap in the face, especially since he turned down the opportunity himself because it didn’t feel right. They’re no longer together, but this has still hit a nerve for Davide.

“He feels like Ekin-Su’s decision shows a complete lack of emotional empathy; not just for him, but for everything they went through as a couple. He can’t believe she’d jump at the chance without considering how it might look.”
