This compelling Squid Game theory says killed player is actually still alive and will come back

There’s a Squid Game theory floating around that claims a player killed off in season two is actually still alive. And that means, they’ll probably be back for the rest of the games in season three!

Since the second season dropped there have been constant theories. Be that about who Player 001 might be related to, what games are coming next, or a player who might actually be the mastermind behind the entire games. It’s a lot. But now, people are starting to join the dots about one certain death, and how it might not be all it seemed to be.

The end of season two was dramatic, and saw some of the remaining players form a revolt. They tried to access the control room of the games, and take over from the guards. Spoiler alert, but it failed. One player who sadly saw their life come to an end was 246. Of course, we know him as the father of the little girl in the strawberry hat, who is extremely unwell.

Throughout the games, we have seen the perspective of one of the guards for the first time – Shooter 011. She had a connection to Player 246 – she had worked as a bunny at an event before the games, and met 246’s sick daughter. We saw on the show she had been shooting players but keeping them alive – purposefully making her shots not fatal.

At the end of season two, a bunch of players surrender to the guards. One being 246. “Please don’t kill me,” he told the guard. “My daughter is very sick.” He is then shot.

But if you look back at this moment, is does look as though the guard readjusted their shot just before they pulled the trigger. They aimed lower. The camera is very much placed so that we can’t fully see where Player 246 was shot.

Was this guard 011? Was she trying to keep 246 alive? Does this mean he will be back and playing on in season three? It could well be the case!
