Inside Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s dramatic date night at the Golden Globes

Some couples go to the pub for a date. Some couples get pizza. And some people go for dinner and drinks at the Golden Globes, of all places, because these people are Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner and they can do whatever they want. Er, maybe I’m just not fashionable enough to appreciate this. But Timothée Chalamet wore a blue spotty skinny scarf over his Tom Ford suit and it’s a bit confusing. It lowkey looks to me like he was on his way out the house, his mother screamed, “No, Timmy, you’ll catch cold!” and flung his scarf around him while he struggled and writhed, and this was the result.

Timothée Chalamet walked the red carpet alone, but sat next to Kylie Jenner inside. Timothée was at the Golden Globes, by the way, because he was nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama for starring in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unkwnown. Kylie Jenner was at the Golden Globes because she’s Kylie Jenner.

She wore a sleek silver chainmail Versace dress which Elizabeth Hurley once wore to an awards show in the 90s. That’s such a flex.

So, Kylie and Timothée were sat next to each other. It looks like Timothée asked for Kylie to be his plus one to the event? Kylie sat among other A Complete Unknown stars, including Monica Barbado and Elle Fanning.

While all the actors have their roles and nominations listed beneath their names, Kylie’s namecard said “audience talent”.

Kylie seems to have spent a lot of the evening taking selfies with other celebrities. There are some very cute pics of her with both Dakota and Elle Fanning.

Er, did Demi Morre flat-out ignore Kylie Jenner and only address Timothée Chalamet?

The internet certainly thinks so.

After Demi Moore won an award for The Substance, she came over to Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s table. Demi Moore gave Elle Fanning a big squishy hug, and thanked her and Monica Barbado for heaping praise on her. Kylie Jenner was sitting right next to Demi Moore and said something to her. Demi Moore appeared not to hear her and carried on chatting to the actresses. She said, “you look so beatiful,” while pointing just to Elle Fanning and Monica Barbado.

Demi Moore then stepped right passed Kylie to talk to Timothée. He told her “congrats” and that her movie was “insane”. Demi Moore then moved on from the group.

Kylie Jenner did a big Demi Moore tribute for Halloween this year. She literally dressed up as Demi Moore’s character in Striptease for Halloween this year. (Although, does it count as dressing up if you’re not wearing any clothes?) I guess Demi Moore wasn’t very impressed by the homage?

No, Timothée Chalamet didn’t win anything at the Golden Globes.

Adrien Brody won Best Actor (Drama) instead. Kylie Jenner didn’t win anything either, due to not being an actor in the first place.

The host Nikki Glaser made lots of jokes in her monologue about Timothée having “the most gorgeous eyelashes on your upper lip” and needing to play Adam Sandler in a biopic, which were apparently meant to be funny. Timothée and Kylie laughed along admirably.
