Ka-ching! All the swanky treats inside the 2025 Golden Globes gift bag worth a huge $1 million
I’ll happily take the Maldives trip if the celebs don’t want it
2025’s Golden Globes is nearly here, and though the focus is undoubtedly on the actors looking to go home with an award, we mere mortals are far more interested in the swanky gift bags.
On Sunday, January 5, Hollywood’s elite will step out for a night of glitz and glamour at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California. This year’s ceremony is hosted by the hilarious Nikkie Glaser, with films such as Emilia Pérez, Wicked, and Dune all expected to be winning big.
Unlike last year, which saw a gift back total $500,000, 2025’s ceremony boasts a goodie bag with just over $1 million worth of swag inside. Let’s take a look.
All the swanky gifts in the 2025 Golden Globes gift bag
Award ceremony gift bags are a long-held tradition that sees everything from five-star trips to strange beauty treatments being gifted to the world’s richest celebrities. They don’t need it, but my face leather could really do with one of those vampire facials!
Though previous years have featured items such as safari trips and robot dogs, Golden Globes nominees have nothing to worry about because the gift bag this year is just as lavish.
When it comes to trips and excursions, there’s a lot to choose from:
- A private flight and stay in Finland to see the Northern Lights – $48,000
- Three-night stay in a beachfront villa in Turks and Caicos – $507,492

The secret rule that no one knows about
If you are like me then you assumed that all 100 eligible recipients received all of the above gifts. As it turns out, that is not the case. As per The Guardian, all 100 recipients can bag nine of the 25 items on offer in this year’s official gift bag alongside the items that are available to everyone like the bed sheets, suede holdall, gin, and whisky.
Most of the big-ticket items are only available to a select few, but the exact process is still shrouded in mystery. Personally, I’m betting on a well-mannered thumb war.
