This is a place for people who actually enjoy talking about film and TV without the snobbery, for those who always feel the urge to dissect them in the group chat and immediately head online for the conversation (aka, the memes).

Our mission is to create a space for people who are passionate about watching and discussing film and TV that doesn’t feel gatekeepy, stuffy, or like an exclusive club you can only join if you have a film degree. We’re for everyone.

We cover whatever’s going big: from the Netflix top 10 to major releases, cult faves, and the new shows quietly gaining traction. All with a thread of humour, and plenty of bite.

You won’t find any lofty reviews or generic ending explainers here. Instead, there’ll be plenty of takes, sharp online observations, deep dives that don’t feel like homework, features with plenty of personality, and all the drama on and off screen.

Our film and TV-obssessed writers and editors are (sometimes worringly) tapped into internet culture, and can always spot what everyone will be arguing over next.

Film Shrine is the third site from The Tab Group, after The Tab and Reality Shrine. They all share the same DNA – bringing voice-driven, honest, original entertainment news and commentary to young audiences.
