A Love Island winner has been charged after his dog allegedly attacked a man
He won the show in 2018
Love Island winner Jack Fincham has been charged after his dog allegedly bit a man in Kent.
The 33-year-old appeared on series four of the reality show and won with his girlfriend at the time Dani Dyer.
He has been charged with two counts of possessing a dangerous dog out of control, KentOnline reports.
It relates to an old incident that occurred in his hometown of Swanley, Kent in September 2022.
His black Cane Corso Elvis allegedly injured a man named Robert Sudell, according to court documents obtained by MailOnline.
Jack was criticised in 2021 after he bought the dog from Russia with cropped ears.
In the UK and Wales, cropping a dog’s ears is illegal under section five of the Animal Welfare Act.
“While it is the breeder who was likely responsible – not Jack – PETA urges him to use his huge social media platform to speak out against this cruel practice,” PETA’s Director Elisa Allen told MailOnline.
This isn’t the first time he’s been in trouble with the law.
Jack was pulled over in August 2023 and found to be driving with cocaine in his system. His BMW also had false number plates and he didn’t have insurance.
He was stopped by officers in an unmarked police car in Dartford, Kent whilst speeding along the hard shoulder to skip traffic and given a 12-month suspended sentence.
“It was extremely lucky that there was no accident,” the judge said.
“I am happy to suspend the sentence due to the confirmation that Mr Fincham has stopped taking drugs and drinking and that he is also a professional boxer who runs his own business.”
He was also disqualified from driving until October 2029 and ordered to do 250 hours of unpaid work.
