Love Island’s Jack Fincham ‘arrested on suspicion of drink driving and having false plates’

He was stopped by police near his home

Love Island 2018 winner Jack Fincham has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and having false plates on his car, The Sun is reporting.

The publication claims he was stopped whilst driving at high-speed, and was also held by police on suspicion of careless driving and driving without insurance.

It’s been reported he was stopped near his home, in Kent, on August 26th and has since been released under investigation until November 26th.

The Sun is also reporting a source said he was using private plates on his car, not false ones, and has denied using drugs and driving. Fincham was also charged with drug driving in 2021, but the case was dropped.

Fincham’s solicitor Conor Johnstone, of M.A.J Law, said: “Mr Fincham has not been charged with drug driving and denies any drug consumption whatsoever. There is no evidence at this stage that Mr Fincham drove whilst over the legal limit and we are hopeful that his blood results will prove the same.”

His recent arrest comes as it’s also been reported he is due to fly out to Fiji to take part in new Peakcock spin-off series, Love Island Games. Love Island Games is different to the UK series Love Island: All Stars, which will air on ITV, and a number of previous Islanders have been rumoured as taking part.
