‘I’m the it girl of Brighton’: What the new Islanders have said in their cringe show bios
‘I don’t really like being outside too much, I’ve been outside recently and it’s not fun outside’
Love Island 2024 is finally upon us – and with the new cast of Islanders being announced, come the cringy bios they have to provide. Every year as the cast members are revealed they give a little line about what they’re like and what they will bring to the villa – and this year, the newbies really provided.
The Islanders have spoken about their personality, how they think they’re minor celebs in their hometowns already, and why they are the biggest catch the show has ever seen.
Strap in, the bios for the Love Island 2024 cast are giving.
Samantha Kenny
Samantha said she will “bring some fire” to Love Island 2024, and described herself as “very opinionated”. She added: “I’m really bubbly too so I’ll definitely have a laugh as well as bringing some scouse glamour. I think the guys will be drawn to me as I’m outgoing and very easy to get along with. I’m confident, naturally funny and glam, I think they will like my chat.”
Ayo Odukoya
Kicking off the boys is 25-year-old model, Ayo. He seems to think Love Island is something everyone is going to experience in life, and talks about it like something we should all get round to doing at some point. It’s almost like he just thought ‘oh go on then’ and actually managed to get cast. He also spent a lot of time talking about how much he hates being outside? I’m not sure how to feel.

“It seems like something to have a go at,” he said when asked why he was going to the villa. “Of course, you can’t go wrong trying to find that love again – that is something that would be amazing to find if possible. I don’t really like being outside too much, I’ve been outside recently and it’s not fun outside! I do prefer to be indoors chilling with that person I can do stuff with. It would be nice to have that with somebody again.”
Nicole Samuel
Nicole says at her age, the ripe ol’ age of 24, she now feels “ready to settle down” and said: “My personality is big and I’m pretty out there, I reckon I’ll probably have one of the biggest personalities in the villa.” Let’s see about that then!
Sam Taylor
Hair stylist Sam said in his bio: “I’d say not to judge a book by its cover because how I look compared to what I do for work might not necessarily add up. You wouldn’t look at me as a tall guy covered in tattoos and think that I make girls’ hair look pretty for a living.” Fair enough.
Patsy Field
I rate Patsy a lot, because hers is one of the most honest of all the Love Island 2024 bios. She straight up says she going on the show because the men will be “hunky and sexy” and has said she loves to be “centre of attention”.
“I’m funny and a very good cook so I’d definitely say I’m wifey material,” she said. “I can also be a bit of a sugar mummy as I do like to spoil my partners and have been known to date younger guys.”
Ciaran Davies
When asked why he’s a catch, rugby player Ciaran said: “The height, beard and Welsh accent usually works a charm.” He added: “When I was in Malia on a boys holiday I pretended to be Liam Reardon from series seven to get into a club because they wouldn’t let us in. It worked and we ended up getting a private booth and free drinks all night.”
Jess White
Whilst Jess was honest and called herself “hard work” and “used to getting my own way” she was asked what makes her a catch, and said: “I’d say my personality. I’m quite bubbly and outgoing and I think I can make most people feel quite comfortable and that’s a nice thing to have in this day and age – to put people at ease and build a relationship that way.”
Munveer Jabbal
Muveer backs himself, and said he’s “a great guy” and will bring “nice hair, good teeth and good chat” to the villa. “I like the nicer things in life. I’m a family person, I love dogs and I’m a good lover,” he said. I’ll take your word for it.
Mimii Ngulube
Mental health nurse Mimii said she knows she’s good looking, but is aware she has a serious resting bitch face. “I carry myself well. I’m a bit of a wife – I like to take care of my man, cook for him, do his hair, give him massages, check in on him,” she said.
Sean Stone
Sean had a very specific way of describing his personality. He said: “Very loving, caring and thoughtful. I’m the kind of guy that if you broke down on the motorway and needed your tyre changed, I’d be there at any time of night.” He also dropped in that he has a third nipple. Ok!
Harriett Blackmore
Harriett really backs herself as being a big deal, even before she’s stepped foot in the villa. She described herself as the “it girl of Brighton” with connections to Arrdee and Saffron Barker. “I’m really confident with the looks to match,” she said. “Everyone needs a bit of Harriet B sparkle.”
Ronnie Vint
Ronnie said he has “always thought about Love Island” but decided his time is now. Then, the rest of his bio seems to focus around mayo. No, really.
“I love mayonnaise, I have it on everything I eat, even a roast dinner. The only thing I don’t have it on is cereal,” he said. He added he is “fun and bubbly but miserable if I’ve not got my mayo.” I get it x
