MAFS Australia’s Seb Guilhaus is charged with drug trafficking after police raid at his home
Police found $90,000 worth of drugs at his house
Former Married at First Sight Australia groom Sebastian Guilhaus has been charged with drug trafficking after a police raid took place at his home in Adelaide.
The 35-year-old was arrested on Friday by Serious and Organised Crime Branch detectives at his property where police officers allegedly seized almost 1kg of methamphetamine, with a street value worth at least $90,000.
The former groom appeared at Adelaide Magistrates Court, charged with one count of trafficking in a commercial quantity of methamphetamine, reports The Advertiser. Sebastian has been remanded in custody to appear for a bail hearing later this week.
Sebastian Guilhaus appeared on season seven of MAFS Australia in 2020. He was paired with Lizzie Sobinoff but they split a year later in 2021.
He had previously worked as a personal trainer before joining OnlyFans and launching a career as a porn actor.
Detective Superintendent Billy Thompson, the Serious and Organised Crime Branch officer who led the raid, described the 870g of methamphetamine found as “significant”.
“Methamphetamine causes terrible harm to users and to our communities,” he said.
“This seizure is a significant amount and would have a street value of approximately $90,000. Those who traffic illicit drugs in these amounts do so purely for their own greed, they have no care for others.”
