Introducing Molly Marsh: The 21-year-old TikToker entering the Love Island 2023 villa
She lives on a farm and already knows loads of Islanders
Love Island 2023 is upon us, and one of the new cast members is Molly Marsh. Molly was rumoured to be part of the show before the full cast list was announced, and people instantly realised she’s a huge TikToker, with some Love Island claims to fame already.
She’s heading into the iconic villa, saying she’s going to bring energy as she hopes to find love – and, with the amount of Islanders she already knows, she should be an icon. Here’s everything you need to know about her.
21-year-old Molly Marsh is from Doncaster, and she lives on a farm!
Molly Marsh is 21, from Doncaster, and works as a musical theatre performer and social media creator. You might recognise her already, as she’s huge on TikTok.
She has over 600k on her TikTok page, and her videos are mainly lifestyle and trends related. She does loads of viral dances, and yes, she was one of the million influencers who tried those giant pickles and videoed herself doing so.

When asked why she wants to join the Love Island 2023 villa, Molly said: “I think it’s ideal timing and the perfect way to find someone. I don’t go out and party and I don’t use dating apps, I’m actually quite old-fashioned, so there’s no better way to meet someone by going into a villa in the sun with the potential ‘one’ in there.”
If we want someone to be farmer Will 2.0 – look no further. Molly lives on a farm! She lives with her mum, dad, sister, grandma, grandad, aunty, uncle, cousin, cousin’s husband, their baby and a chicken. Cool!

Molly says she will bring energy and positivity to the Love Island 2023 villa
Molly described herself as energetic and bubbly, and said she’ll bring this energy to the Love Island 2023 villa. “I’m up for a laugh, I’m spontaneous and adventurous, I hope I can bring a bit of light and positivity to people’s day,” she said.
She added she’s the sort of person to make you tea every day, and make you smile. She said the other Islanders will be able to rely on her if they want to go to someone with their problems.
When asked how her friends and family would describe her, Molly said: “Mischievous, cheeky, weird and sometimes a bit of a bossy diva, I’m incredibly close to my family.”
Molly already has loads of Love Island connections
Love Island 2023 isn’t Molly Marsh’s first rodeo, she already knows loads of Islanders. On her Instagram she’s seen hanging out with Molly-Mae, Maura, Siannise and Jourdan Riane. Last year, Molly met with Olivia Attwood and they did a “quick fire questions” series to promote Getting Filthy Rich, Olivia’s documentary series.
As well as this, before the show, Molly was flirty texting Casa Amor’s Jack Keating!! “Molly and Jack were texting and there was a real spark when it first began, it was flirty banter,” a source told The Sun. “They knew each other through her influencer work and he seemed really keen. It fizzled out before they actually met up though and there was less interest from Molly’s side to be honest, but he still likes all her photos online.”
As well as her Love Island connections, Molly’s mum is a soap star! Her mum Janet appeared on Coronation Street, on three different occasions, playing three different medical roles. She’s been a nurse, a medical receptionist and worked in intensive care on the soap.
What gives Molly the ick?
The most important question of them all. When asked what gives her the ick, Molly said: “Guys shouting at the television when they’re watching sports or the news. You’re not going to get anywhere with me if you’re shouting at the television.”
She said the things that make her attracted to someone are a cheeky smile, a cheeky personality and someone who is family oriented.
She has 45k followers on Instagram
Even before heading into the Love Island 2023 villa, Molly is well followed on Instagram. She’s got over 45k followers, and her feed just screams influencer. She has loads of white background outfit pics, selfies, pictures on holiday, and her hanging out with other big online names. This is her life now!

Ahead of joining Love Island 2023, Molly was asked her favourite Love Island moment of all time
She said: “I loved Chris and Kem’s rap. I fell for Kem as soon as he did his rap.” Same Molly, same.
