Durham ranks in top 100 universities in the world

Of course we have

Durham University has ranked in the top 100 universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2016/17.

Durham placed 96th, a 26 place drop from last year’s ranking which is evaluated across teaching, research, international outlook and reputation.

The Times Higher Education website also explained that for the first time more than 500,000 books and book chapters have been included in the analysis, alongside 11.9 million research papers and 56 million citations, meaning that arts and humanities research is better represented than ever before.

Durham’s supposed rival Exeter dropped out of the top 100, placing a less impressive 126th.
