Courtyard bar closed due to flooding
Derwent L block and Courtyard bar has flooded due to excess rain
Isabella WildSignificant rainfall across York has caused the campus West based bar, Courtyard, to close due to flood damage.
In a Facebook post YUSU released a statement regarding Courtyard's temporarily closure.
The post stated food will not be served in Courtyard today and will close at 10pm this evening for "a major program of repair" by the University of York.
Courtyard will also be closed for the full day tomorrow whilst works are undertaken to resolve the flooding issue.
YUSU are aiming to reopen Courtyard again 12 noon on Wednesday 29th October, subject to all works going as planned.
The significant rainfall over the past few days has caused flooding around Derwent L Block and some parts of Courtyard.
