Sheffield Hallam threatens exclusion after student writes n***a into snow

Sheffield Hallam has threatened exclusion after the word ‘n***a’ was written into the snow of the garden of a flat in Sheffield.

The university told The Tab: “If an investigation finds evidence of individuals breaching our student code of conduct, disciplinary action will be undertaken. This can ultimately lead to exclusion.”

They added: “We are taking this report extremely seriously and are in touch with the individuals who shared the image on social media.”

The uni continued: “Sheffield Hallam is a safe and respectful community. Racism, hate speech or other abusive acts are not welcome in our university community and will not be tolerated in any form.

“Anyone who has experienced a hate crime, or any other kind of harassment or abuse, can report it anonymously or get support from an adviser through our Report and Support service at”
