Notts Nightline recognised for top work
Nottingham Nightline scoops award at national conference
Nottingham Nightline has picked up the ‘Best New Initiative’ award at the 2014 National Nightline Conference.
The Notts team was also nominated for ‘Best Volunteer Support’, ‘Leaders of the Year’ and ‘Volunteer of the Year’.
Hosted at Durham University, the conference brought together 36 Nightline teams from across the UK and Ireland earlier this week.
Nightline’s bear – instantly recognisable by any student
Made up of more than 200 volunteers, Nottingham Nightline offers a point of contact for any student with any problem, from exam stress and health to where to get a late night pizza.

Although it was originally set up at UoN back in 1972, Nightline extended the service to Trent in 2012 and now serves around 60,000 students in the city.
The Nightline phoneline is 0115 951 4985, and the service is open every term night from 7pm-8am.
