UEA’s Pole Fitness are completing a 24-hour pole-a-thon

24 hours!!! Of pole dancing!!!


UEA's Pole Fitness Society are hosting a 24-hour pole-a-thon to raise money for the charity Beat, which supports those affected by eating disorders.

The event will take place in the Hive from 7am on the 27th of February until 7am on the 28th of February.

This is also a great opportunity to try pole fitness for yourself, with a separate pole set up for non-members to have a go for a small donation.

Speaking to The Tab Norwich, Amy Stoner, Treasurer of Pole Fitness said: "We want to promote our club to show how fun it is and how much of a community pole fitness is in general, not just here at our university but throughout the country.

"Also, we would like to break some of the stigma surrounding pole fitness, while raising money for a great cause."

Pole Fitness also have their showcase in the LCR coming up in March, with guest performances from the African-Caribbean society. Tickets can be bought for the event here.
