UEA rises into the top 20 UK universities

They must have been impressed by this year’s PMB turnout

UEA has risen six places on The Guardian University Guide’s 2018 league table, which ranks by teaching, career prospects, staff-student ratios and entry requirements. Sitting at 24th last year, this rise means that UEA’s joined the top 20, once again smashing Essex who are 48th. Will they ever win?

Countless individual courses can be seen in the top ten, including second place for American Studies, seventh for Nursing & Midwifery, tenth for Earth & Marine Sciences, sixth for Accounting & Finance and seventh for Law and History of Art.

This rise comes after another success in the Complete University Guide’s league table this year, climbing to 12th place to achieve out highest ever national ranking. UEA Vice-Chancellor, Prof David Richardson, said: “I am delighted to see that our dedication to improving and supporting all aspects of the University, from top-class research to an excellent student experience, has been recognised yet again in this important national league table.”
