Everyone thought Example was playing at the LCR last night
He definitely wasn’t
Gwen HoltLast night, everyone went mental because they thought Example was playing a surprise gig at the LCR.
Yik Yak blew up as people boasted of seeing the star in both Chapelfields and the Hive.
However, the CEO of the SU confirmed exclusively to us that, as far as he was aware, Example was not playing at the LCR.
It was actually ’90s rock band Sum-41, who were playing as part of their Kerrang! tour.
Not all of you believed the rumours…
…but most of you did.
However Example himself eventually put the rumour to bed with one simple tweet.
Ah well, there’s always next year.
