UEA surrender 100% record

UEA 1-1 CROMER TOWN RESERVES: Score draw sees UEA drop their first points of the season.

An abundance of injuries and absences saw a far from full strength UEA team take on an unbeaten Cromer side.

UEA went in to the game with Creasy, Rerizani and Blackwell otherwise engaged while injuries prevented captain Dingli, Seymour, Harle, and Williams from taking to the field.

The first half was disjointed and devoid of any real chances of note as the two sides cancelled each other out.

UEA took the lead early in the second half through a Richards strike but failed to hold on for the win.

A dangerous cross picked out Cromer debutant Gure who buried his header to level the scores.

UEA will be hoping for a larger squad to choose from as they look to get back to winning ways in the coming week.

UEA travel to Northampton in the midweek BUCS fixture before facing Lynn North End F.C. in Saturday’s Norfolk Junior Cup third round tie.
