The Tab Manchester is recruiting – come write for us!

Be the first to break the biggest stories on campus

From the fences to Rent Strike and the blended learning controversy, The Tab Manchester breaks the biggest stories on campus.

Whether you want to rate the best cheap wines from New Zealand’s or write the stories that will get Nancy Rothwell’s blood pressure rising, we want you to write for The Tab Manchester.

Our first open meeting of the year will be at 5pm on the 4th October in Room B1 of the UoM Students’ Union building on Oxford Road.

The meeting is open to students of all years, subjects and from across all of Manchester’s unis. Just come along and find out more about how to get involved in the UK’s biggest student news publication.

Last year stories we broke were featured in The Guardian, the BBC and The Times to name a few.

As well as writing, being part of The Tab also means regular team socials and getting to cover some of Manchester’s biggest nightlife events.

Now we need some new writers to cover every aspect of the Manchester student life, whatever your passions are.

Being part of The Tab is an amazing experience and countless former Tab writers have gone on to work at some of the biggest media companies such as the BBC, The Times, Vice and Vogue.
