Lincoln’s best dressed students: Week Three

Three weeks in and the fashion is still going strong

Welcome to the third week of Lincoln’s best dressed students. The students of Lincoln are coming through once again with their amazing fashion. Everyone loves to stay comfy, which is key for going to lectures, but still looks stylish at the same time. The weather is thankfully getting a bit warmer now so less warm jackets and more long sleeves and lighter outerwear.

I hope this week’s best dressed guide gives you inspiration with some of your outfits.

Where is everything you are wearing from?

My trousers and top are both from H&M, my headband and glasses are from Fab Vintage and my shoes are Vans.

What is your favourite item you are wearing?

My top as you can wear it with multiple outfits.

What are your favourite clothing brands?

It’s hard, I like to shop from Vintage shops but sometimes it’s quite expensive so I usually shop from places like H&M.

Do you shop from any independent companies?

Not as much as I probably should.

What would you describe your style as?

I don’t really know, I wear what I want to wear. I would say I wear more neutral colours but I like to incorporate colour when I can.

My shoes are from Shein, my shirt is from M&S, my skirt is from a charity shop and my blazer is from Primark.

What is your favourite item you are wearing?

My blazer for sure.

What are your favourite clothing brands?

Very hard question as I shop mostly online, I do shop from Shein a lot.

Do you shop from any independent companies?

Probably not, no.

What would you describe your style as?

Very chic.

Where is everything you are wearing from?

Most of my clothes and jewellery are from thrift stores in Lincoln, including the shoes. My trousers are from H&M and my t-shirt is from an outlet stake store.

What is your favourite item you are wearing?

My favourite item of clothing is probably the trousers paired with the chain.

What are your favourite clothing brands?

I get lots of state/casual styles of brands like Nike or Adidas. There are plenty in thrift stores.

Do you shop from any independent companies?

I shop a lot from independent stores as long as they’re close by. Independent vintage shops like Yak and Rock Retro sell lots of good clothes.

What would you describe your style as?

I would describe my style as alternative although it changes a lot.

Where is everything you are wearing from?

My jeans and top are from Asos, but my jeans I got second hand.

What is your favourite item you are wearing?

Definitely my jeans.

What are your favourite clothing brands?

I actually work at a clothes shop called Ego on Steep Hill. I like to get stuff from their vintage section.

Do you shop from any independent companies?

Yes, Ego is an independent company.

What would you describe your style as?

What I am wearing is my style, just comfy jeans, so as long as I’m comfy, I’m happy.

Where is everything you are wearing from?

My shirt is passed down to me so it might be an actual Red Hot Chili Peppers shirt, my shorts are from H&M, and my shoes are from Adidas.

What is your favourite item you are wearing?

My top is probably my favourite, just the subtle off white patter and how kind of see through it is, can’t find anything quite like it at shops and I like how casual it is.

What are your favourite clothing brands?

I’m a sucker for River Island, H&M and New Look.

Do you shop from any independent companies?

I don’t think I do, no though I do enjoy shopping online and if anything catches my attention, then I get it. But not usually.

What would you describe your style as?

My style is a bit of everything, I love to do dress up on occasion but I usually keep it casual. Though I dabble in Urban Outfitters, I’d love to get into that style, which gives me more of an edge.

Not bothered about brands, just go for what appeals to me.

Do you shop from any independent companies?

Not currently but maybe in the future.

What would you describe your style as?

I like to dress comfy.
