The search for former Advertising and Marketing graduate Grace Millane is still underway, after going missing in New Zealand on Saturday.

Grace, who is originally from Essex, kept regular contact with her family on her travels, but caused concern when she stopped responding to birthday messages on Saturday.

She had been staying at the Base Backpackers hostel on Green Street in central Auckland, but has not contacted her family or been active on social media since.

CCTV images show that she was last seen just after 7pm at Sky City in Auckland’s CBD wearing a black dress and Converse style shoes.

Posters have been shared around social media in a desperate appeal

An appeal by a family member on Overheard at Lincoln on Tuesday said: "Grace has been missing for five days. She has not returned to her hostel room in Auckland New Zealand and family members have had no contact since Saturday 1st December.

"The Embassy have been contacted. Please share and contact if you have any information regarding her whereabouts."

The search has attracted many news sites across the country and in New Zealand in hope of finding Grace.

Her Instagram was last active on November 27th where she has posted many photographs of her enjoying her travels.

An officer in New Zealand said: "It is important that anyone who recognises Grace from this photo or saw her on Saturday night contacts the Police immediately on 09 302 6970.”

Tony McLeod, British High Commission Wellington consular manager, said the commission is aware of the missing person report. He said: “We are working with the family in the UK and New Zealand Police in relation to reports of a missing British national in New Zealand."
