Stephanie BennettThat’s right, unfortunately the local haunt of Leeds students and popular nights like Bongo’s Bingo may be closing. This is due to new plans to build residential properties and convert the 18th century textile mill to maximise the space.
The plans have not yet been approved, but if they do then we can say goodbye to one of the best nights out that Leeds has to offer. Submitted by Rhodes Asset Management and supported by ID Planning and Nick Brown Architects, they still may be some small hope to cling on to. Canal Mills also hosts Cirque, Primal Sounds and Regression Sessions alongside Bongo’s Bingo.
