Nobody panic, but there’s going to be an ice rink in the SU next week

A true Christmas miracle

That’s right, the Leeds University Union will be bringing an ice skating rink to Riley Smith theatre on the 5th of December.

The Union will provide the ice skates, and from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, you’ll be able to join the ranks of Michelle Kwan, or Torvill and Dean if you fancy skating in a pair.

George Bissett, Community Officer, said: “For making it through Term One, before you go home for the holidays, we wanted to treat you all to some fun you could get together for. And nothing says that better than a one day ice rink.”

The official LUU page advises: ‘Sessions last 20 minutes and you can select your chosen session from the ticket list below. You may only sign up for one session and must present your NUS card before being allowed entry.’

If you fancy trying your luck on the ice in Riley Smith rather than on your way to uni across the park, you can get your tickets here.
