Leeds Beckett has been named one of the top 10 ugliest universities in the UK

Stephanie BennettLast week, The Tab asked you all to vote for the most hideous uni in the country, and you didn’t disappoint. Thousands voted, and nearly ten % of you decided that Hull was the ugliest. Leeds Beckett came in eighth place out of 25 universities altogether at 4.07%. Leeds University came 12th with 3.04%.
York came in second with 9.06%, Essex third at 8.29% and UEA fourth at 7.93%. Warwick came next in fifth place with 6.95%, Aberystwyth got 6.28% and Coventry 6.02%. The only universities between Leeds Beckett and Uni of were Oxford, Manchester Met and Aberdeen.
The least ugly universities are apparently Brighton, Bristol, Newcastle, Sussex and Exeter – less than 2% voted for each. How Beckett beat Uni of despite the Roger Stevens building, we’ll never know.
