The winner managed to get 50.4% of the votes, and surpassed Samantha Abraham by over 4,000 votes.
With 13,443 votes Leeds’ new BNOC is…
Wilf Joules
The fourth year German student is a “typical lad”, and is out 8 days a week (apparently) and “knows everybody from your nan to the man who cleans the toilets in Roger Stevens.”
When asked about his win, Wilf declared: “Wilf Joules is not a person, Wilf Joules is a strong and stable idea. This victory doesn’t come as a surprise, it comes as a throbbing reminder: Wilf Joules is inside each and every one of you. Don’t be alarmed, don’t be afraid. Just let it happen. Wilf Joules. Wilf.”
