Trials seeking Leeds boffins to take place on campus tomorrow
Jack CummingsWe’ve all been there: watching University Challenge, hoping to guess just one right answer before the Oxbridge crew.
But tomorrow brings the chance to do it for real and show you’ve got what it takes to go on par with Paxman.
First round auditions for the Leeds University Challenge team will take place in Old Bar from 5-7pm on the 11th November.
“You don’t know the square root of 45896.1234? You idiot!”
Budding boffins can test their knowledge in a range of quick fire questions and logic puzzles
The highest scorers will be invited back to the live final heat in mid-November.
All the uni ask is that you’ll still be a student at the time of filming in February and April 2014.

Union Affairs Officer Bradley Escorcio said: “This year we’ll be organising a team to take part in University Challenge and we want you to come and show us why you deserve a spot.”
