The University of Leeds has secured a spot on the High Flyer Research’s top targets for graduate employers, published by the Telegraph.

The University came in at number 10, ahead of Imperial, London School of Economics and UCL.

The bad news is that the same study showed a decrease in the number of graduate jobs available, with a 0.8% drop on entry-level employment from last year.

Bob Gilworth, Ditector of the University of Leeds’ Career Centre told The Tab:

‘Leeds continues to be highly-rated by employers because graduates leave the University as self-assured, flexible, independant critical thinkers with a breadth of skills that they can readily apply to the workplace.’

‘It remains important that students make the most of resources available to them whilst studying, whether that be by visiting the Careers Centre, going to careers fairs, taking careers modules, undertaking placements or internships, networking with alumni, or by getting involved in volunteering and societies.’
