What’s Hot: Week 5
There’s loads to do this week around Durham – once again we’ve brought you the places to be seen
Fashion Show Carnage
There are fashion shows aplenty this week with Castle and Collingwood on Friday and Grey on Saturday. You can have a whole weekend of looking at beautiful people. Tickets still available for all three, so if you’re not doing anything head down and help raise money for charity.
The Champagne Society Great Hall Event
The Champagne Society Great Hall event is this Saturday in Castle; there’ll be bubbly, a string quartet and a DJ. Tickets are £45 and they admit two, so head along if you want an event that oozes class.
The Lumley Run takes place tomorrow evening with participants running from Lumley Castle to Durham Castle. 15 runners, 7 and a half miles, 23 pubs – enough said.
FemSoc and Cuth’s Rugby Club (yes, really) are co-hosting a panel discussion entitled ‘Is there a relationship between Lad Culture and sexual violence?’. Panellists include Hannah Lowther, student president of Team Durham and Professor of Criminology at Durham, Nicole Westmarland.
Durham’s foremost RnB and Hip Hop night, you will literally lose a stone because you’ll be dancing so much. Need we say more?
