Blonde announced as Grad Ball headliners
They’ve had three top ten hits
The Guild of Students have secured Bristol based band Blonde to headline this year’s Grad Ball
The duo, who are often played on Radio 1, will perform at the event on June 9th. However the announcement has had mixed reviews from ticket holders.
One student said: “I saw the announcement that Blonde was playing on Facebook. It’s really good that the Guild have chosen to keep the headliner modern this year.
“Example played at my Grad Ball last year.”
Politics final year student Meg Ward was puzzled by the news. She said: “Who is Blonde? Should I know them?”
Guild President Jack Mably said: “Following student feedback in our Grad Ball survey, we are really happy to have Blonde perform this year. The group have had three top ten hits and have performed live at a number of festivals across the country!
“Grad Ball will be complete with a Silent Disco, fairground rides and photo booths and every year the night is a huge success. We are excited for June 9th 2016!”
