But it’s still only eight pints a week
Amy DurrantWe drink more than most other universities, scooping up third place in the University Drinking League Table.
But the league, compiled by Student Beans, reckons we only neck 16.9 units a week – that’s just eight and half pints.
We missed out on the top two spots to York and Surrey, who drink 19 and 18 units respectively.
How many units can you count?
16.9 units is the equivalent of eight and a half pints of Fosters, or 11 VKs, or 17 shots of vodka. Not much, is it?
Either the regular Vodka Tuesday-ers were too hungover to do the survey, or everyone’s giving their livers a rest to try out Aber’s hidden gems.
